Miker is still giggling his ass off as he recounted to everyone how I sassed our bosses abroad via video conference this morning. I swear I didn't mean to! T_T
I have just been caught in a 'copyright infringment' faux pas when they told me I created textures that look too much like copyrighted characters. So 'POOF!' goes my idea of sneaking in cosplayers in the game XD
They moved on to my using images off the web as dummy UI...
me: "Yes sir! As soon as we model our own assets we'll render them and replace the web images with our own art."
US boss: "....I guess I'll just shut up then."
me: *inserts foot in mouth*
After they had their laughs and tossed "You got served!" comments among the US bosses they went on to congratulating us for being the first team to finish the first batch of games for their Ubisoft presentation last Friday. Woohoo! I hope they'll believe me now when I tell them we really work faster while surfing the net, but I doubt it :p
When we were asked to name our teams my team agreed to being called Team Piyaya.
Roberto: "I love my game job, I love to do 3D..."
Gene: "I love my game job, I love to code gameplay..."
me: "I love my game job, it's fun to work and play..."
all: "Team Piyaya, Team Piyaya, Team Piyaya, yeah!"

We went out to Ah Sim in the Robinson's Galleria for a company-sponsored lunch buffet :9 om nom nom nom! Then at 3pm we found the most awesomesauce cake! It's blue and it has the Circus Games logo on it with rainbow sprinkles with a message welcoming us as Kuju Manila. Yeap, we are now officially Kuju Manila, the Philippine studio for Kuju Entertainment! Yay!
I went Zerg Rush mode as I swooped in to attack the cake. Then I found that my hair got caught on my officemate Roberto's cake icing! It even spread onto the er... upper front part of my shirt.
So much for being seme today -_-
After failing HARD with trying to wipe off the white sticky mess with tissues I finally gave up and went to the ladies' room to wash it off. I was kinda ranting about how I just used my strawberry hair conditioner this morning, and wondered if my hair still smells of cake instead of strawberries. Some of my hair is wet now, along with that part of my shirt :p
