Squee!
I was in CosMania last Sunday to participate with Black Pearl Philippines in the Pirate Parade XD I went there as Adelina the Pirate, waiting at the mall gates before 10am. With Jack Sparrow and Norringtom leading the piratey formation nazgulqueen , and the rest of us walked the lengths of EACH floor of Megamall, waving and saying hello to kids and non-kids alike. Patton elicited giggles from the girls as usual as he was cosplaying Will Turner, but got annoyed after being called Legolas. Again. *roflmao!* (peace, Patton!)
Karen: "What event would ever be complete without Erving??" XD so true! filcosplayfart looked adorable wearing kuro neko mimi as he walke with us carrying his trademark camera ^^
Most of the pirates sailed over to Il Pirata after the parade, while ericvids picked me up for his birthday lunch with his family. His momskie- err mom is very genki ^^ and his dad's friendly. Eric also introduced me to his sister Jaclyn (yeah, even the spelling's the same). He practiced on his bass guitar while I Plurked in his PC until 5pm when their driver dropped us off in my dorm to exchange the pirate costume into my Konishi before going to Megamall.
I never got to change into my Konishi costume this time though because menismastah was not cosplaying Minamimoto :( ah well, I still enjoyed his performance as vocalist of their band Moonspeak, with Eric on bass, xtraryce on drums, sonnaqs on rythm and kirby_agudelo on lead guitars :) I even bought shiro neko mimi and wore it as I watched! :3
I walked around the con after Moonspeak's performance and saw lots of my friends incuding _ligaya_, markpoa, as well aspixeldreamz, poweredbygravy, psychomadness, restituto, schuri_requiem, somewhat_else, thecomstarbaby, littleusagi, noin_claude, maikophoenix, devione_angeli, hitokiri_recca, and other fellow penguins of antrctca.
It was also fun watching killer_gei as Phil with all the lolsome segments they were featuring onstage! XD I was also surprised to see stryderranulf there because I didn't know he's already back in the country. He told me he went to the con straight from the airport XD mistervader was glomped as soon as I saw him in a suit and tie! <3 And um, some people still took pictures of me even though I wasn't in costume anymore ^_^; ...er, was it the nekomimi?
And I also saw eclair who told me about the awesome Pinky Street dolls being sold in magnetic_rose's kalye_pinky booth. I've always wanted to buy a Pinky Street doll but Eric and I couldn't decide between a Super Lovers Suu and her Space Invaders edition. I told him I was kinda partial to the former Suu but that I'll just get back to it another day... which is why I bapped Eric after he walked me to my dorm where I found that he apparently bought the Suu and sneaked it into my bag XD
