First off you are not crazy. I do not know you and you do not seem like the typical "pretender" to me. I personally see nothing wrong with role playing or doing something to satisfy a partner. Congrats for doing it actually it's very commendable!
I know that for me, even as much as I love my Master there are some days that I'm just not feeling it. I will still serve him but it's definitely not with the same attitude as other days. And the same goes for him, sometimes he's just not up for actively dominating me. Especially this time of year, it tends to be our down time/ slow period. That and sometimes life just gets in the way.
I don't know much else to say beyond that. I do not know your local community, but I feel sad that you have been treated in such a manner. Hopefully this is just a small bump in the road for you.
I hope that you can find your spark again with him, I really do.

Actually We sat last night and talked for hours trying to figure out what the block was and where it had come from and we are trying some things out...
And the response from the community has been overwhelming and so positive... I think it is going to take the rest of the night to reply to them all :)
