I was doing so well at the start of the year and I've failed to keep up with updating like I wanted to these past couple of months. That's going to change now, since I have a busy few weeks planned and there will be lots of updates.

Your review makes a lot of excellent points. I've never wanted Shawn and Juliet together as a couple, because from what I can see, he doesn't really deserve her. As you say, he shows no remorse or conflict about his behaviour. Maybe he does feel it and we just don't see it, but all that presents the viewer with is a man in his early thirties, lying to a woman he supposedly loves and manipulating everyone and everything to get his own way.
It's starting to bother me more and more than Shawn never loses. It's not that we don't know he's fallible. He makes mistakes constantly, but he always wins. And while in the first couple of seasons he had the charm and the intelligence to make you like that, I feel like the longer the show goes on, the less likeable Shawn becomes. He's losing all the things that made me love him. Every once in a while you see it again and you think maybe they're going to turn it around, but it never seems to last.
Maybe they'll address the problems next season. I was worried about where things were headed at the beginning of this year but I was pleasantly surprised. And they do seem to be leading up to a reveal. I thought that was going to happen when Juliet's dad arrived for his special cameo and wouldn't give Shawn his blessing because he knows Shawn's a con artist. I'm just disappointed they didn't follow through. The longer it goes on the worse the fallout should be and I'm worried that they'll just have Juliet shrug her shoulders and get over it in a week.

I also agree with everything you wrote about Community, but I never know what else to add about that series besides "Perfect Show is Perfect."
