Holiday Photos 1: San Francisco & Monterey
The view from our hotel window in San Francisco.
The first day of our holiday; we went for brunch in the Castro...
...and then got a cable car down to the pier.
I was excited by the Zoltar machine because I am a geek.
No, I didn't wish to be big.
We had lunch watching the sea lions.
We stole Neil Patrick Harris's idea of pointing in photographs.
Then we drove down to Monterey. This was the view from our balcony.
Then this guy landed right next to us and I may have freaked out a little. I hate birds.
We met the lovely sleepherealone for dinner.
The next day we got on a boat...
...went out to sea...
...saw some whales!!
I was so excited to see real live whales there in the sea. It was an amazing experience.
Then we went to the aquarium. I think jellyfish are beautiful.
That evening we went to Point Pinos to look at the tide pools and climb rocks.
Monterey is so beautiful. We could stayed there longer, quite happily.
