I saw the film last night and it was awesome.
Draco Malfoy I love you and want to have gorgeous white-haired babies with you. I was so impressed with Tom Felton and the fact that they did justice to Draco's plot in that book. It was his book. I don't think there was one part with Draco in that I didn't think was spot on.
I'm glad they fleshed out the Ron/Hermione stuff. The Harry/Ginny was nicely done too I thought. Not over done - just enough there to make it tie in with what happens next. A good beginning. In fact the whole film felt like a beginning. Is it next November yet?
Alan Rickman was amazing as always, though under-used. Narcissa was just about perfect, even though I did worry when I saw the first publicity photos. The scene in the cave finally made some sense to me and I was pleased they managed to explain the horcruxes in a simple straightforward way.
I'm going to see it again on Saturday, so I'll probably have more to add after that. :D
