(no subject)
So yesterday was pretty awesome.
I got to the venue in Manchester a couple of hours early and managed to meet up with lovinspike247 and her friends and because they are far braver than me, I got to meet Gabe and Ryland.
YAY! \o/ Gabe said he liked my sweater - as he should, because it's fab. Hee!
I met some fabulous girls from LJ-land and we sat in the pub talking about Panic and bandom and fic and hiding all the porn from our parents until my friend Clare arrived. I gave them my LJ name but didn't get theirs because I'm a dork so I hope they find me because that was lots of fun.
Clare doesn't have an LJ or know about bandom and had no idea who Corba Starship was, but she was super throughout the whole night. She really seemed to enjoy it and got into the whole thing.
Today she took me to the Body Worlds exhibit, which wasn't as horrific or morbid as I thought it was going to be. It was fascinating. Then we did some shopping and got some lunch. Today has been a good day.
