what do you do when your professor gives you $50 to help cover the cost of your textbooks and then no matter what you say refuses to take it back saying, "keep it, i've already forgotten it"?
on the one hand, SWEET! and extra $50!!
on the other hand, lots of pressure now to put in lots of effort into his class.
on a third hand (cause i'm weird and was exposed to lots of radiation as a baby), it feels very awkward when a prof just reaches into his wallet and hands you $50.
