(no subject)
some of you may remember a brief stint with someone from my german class back in december that ended on a rather poor note. i sent an email the other day in a sincere gesture of just being nice. it went like this:
"hey ben.
how's it goin? for some reason i was thinking about you today and how
it's too bad we never really hung out and took the time to really get
to know one another. so i just thought i'd say hi again and wish you a
happy summer.
maybe we'll run into each other next year.

i got a response today:
"Do you think a schmaltzy e-mail justifies your social insecurities?
Ben"
i pity the poor guy:\
