I edited this in one of my professional film editors, but because of the high quality of the footage, the size (for less than 4 minutes) was over 700 MBs!!! So, I used the software that I knew would compress it. The same running time, without any frames or scenes cut out is now freakishly a small file size ( Read more... )

Thanks! I think "The Morons" is probably the one that most people like the best. Personally, I like "Gothic Midnight... Behind the Scenes" because of the risk I took to film the turkey vultures. I never wrote about this, but I was riding down Hwy. 23 and saw a group of turkey vultures eating on a deer (that must have been hit by a car) on the side of the road. I stopped the car on the highway and turned on the camera. After 5 years of trying to photograph a turkey vulture, I wasn't about to give up that opportunity. I didn't realize what a dangerous position I was in until a few cars honked their horns at me as they passed at about 60-70 mph. I was actually stopped on a curve, so any cars coming up on me saw me at the last minute and I was lucky that no one slammed into the back of my car.

The funny thing is that I always thought that they were just "ugly, black ducks"... haha... until I was corrected and also called a "dumbass" for thinking that (back in '99). ;)

The bears and the gorilla (there were three, but I concentrated mostly on the pouty one) were at the zoo, so nothing to brag about there. Actually, I was really pleased to see how content the bears were, but after filming that very sad gorilla, I was so upset that I left the zoo after that. I didn't include one clip where one of the gorillas (the dominant one) charged the glass at ME. I didn't move because it happened so fast, but after it did happen, all I could think is, "Out of all of the people by the glass (whatever the divider was made out of), why would he charge at me?". :)
