The Date is Set...
Well everything here is going amazingly well right now, although it's leaving us on the hectic side of busy... I guess it's our own fault though as we've set the date for the wedding to Dec 5th! :) Yes, that's right 3 weeks, 3 days time!!!!! :D
However since we set the date 2 days ago, we've booked the reception, planned the menu, ordered the cake, booked hotel rooms for those who need them, helped my step-dad buy his suit, found a load of lace flower petals that my birth Mum had made before she lost her sight been taught how to stitch the ones that need stitching and stitched 75% of them. On top of this I have all the buttonholes done, have the flowers for the 2 corsages and an Alice Band for my niece Jasmine to have, with a few flowers on it! Oh and all the invitations have been printed along with the RSVP's and announcements for other family members we're not inviting, but who should know all about it, done Xmas cards for all of those too and got them ready for the mail! :) Talk about busy and productive... ;)
I should have the menu from the restaurant within the next hour or so, at which point I'll be e-mailing it to all invited, so we can sort out pre-ordering. Then of course it's late night shopping, so it's off to hunt for a new suit for our son (seeing as he insists on growing), mailing off all the Xmas cards and wedding invites etc., then I can look for a hair clip and some nice new wedding unmentionables! ;)
Following this, I think I can make time for a meal for us all, before I get back to lace flower stitching and construction, while MrO fends off the cats! It's pretty comical to watch... ;)
