Good shooting...

The scribe job at Brookes Uni was better than expected, although utterly exhausting... The 2nd year Creative Writing course tutorial was very interesting and a lot less intimidating than I'd feared. All in all it was a good day, though I do feel I've earned every penny as I typed for nearly 4 hours straight! At times I'm sure my fingers were smoking... ;)

Shooting yesterday was great, I felt I really needed to let off steam following the tutorial and so shot a Portsmouth, (60 arrows at 20 yards, with a 60 cm target face and 10 zone scoring - Max score of 600), with my son. He again shot really well with his new sight and managed to average over 60 points per dozen arrows throughout the round, coming away with a score of 336! I managed for the first time ever to keep all my ends over 40, scoring between 80 and 90 per dozen and ending up with a score of 448 - my second best score shooting that type of round! :) Even though I have scored higher over all before I've never been so consistent and consistency is what you're really after in archery, so I'm really pleased with myself and my son! :)

Other than that school's just started up again and MrO's back at work, so other than the cats it's quiet around here and to be honest I think I need the day to relax a little and catch up on all the laundry that didn't get done this weekend due to other commitments...

Finally I've told the PTA they can shove it after they've come back to me quibbling over paying for a black ink cartridge for my printer after I've done 2 years of printing notices for them, they have the audacity to think 0.48p covers all those costs including paper! Yer right, find some other fool to do all that work for free... :P
