Almost frantic.
We almost had my son and his boy plus girlfriend to stay. We talked about it as we read the papers, and I already had planned how to stretch what we had to make substantial meals.
The potatoes we were given were beautifull,a big dish of those with garlic?
Two or three chicken breasts in the freezer, could have done something with them...
Vegetables, well had a mix of fresh and frozen.
Oodles of apples and lemons, and as I always make chocolate cake, well that would need to be done. Would have done an apple pie or lemon delicious too.
As we have about 80 paintings in the spare bedroom they would come out and line the hallway, gee we have been productive lately~ !!Must try and sell some, we have a market booked for Easter Saturday. Indoors in case of bad weather. Otherwise our house is full of paintings we have done.
As illustrated have them stacked everywhere!
So was quite looking forward to it, a lot of work, but I love feeding them; Duh ....then plans changed, cars had to be shuffled it was a birthday, etc., so instead we are alone. But hey even that is good, might get that painting done, and also read some of the entries in lj.....
They promised us sun today, where the heck is it?
