My neighbor is driving me nuts!
Arggg! I am so ticked off at my neihgbor right now. It's quite a long story...It all started when Jolyève was born she called to see if I wanted to buy any second hand clothes from her since she has an older daugther. Turns out her daugther was born end of August and Jolyeve was born end of March so the season didn't quite work out so I told that I didn't want to but them. I must say I go walking with her almost every night so I know her quite well and I considered her a friend. About a week ago she called to say the lady she ended up selling all her second hand clothing too didn't want the snowsuit and coat and asked if I wanted them. The coat is 24 months and the snowsuit 18 months. She paid close to 400$ for both and was asking 100$. I told her they were really nice but that they would probably be too big for Jolyeve this winter. Anyways I was talking to my friend Annick this week and her daugther will be turning 1 in October and I thought the coat and snowsuit would be perfect for her so I asked her if she was interested and she was. I called my neighbor and asked if she still had them for sale and she said yes. She said if she think 100$ is too expensive to make her an offer. Me and Jolyève went to Annick's house to show her the peices and she really like them. She wrote a check for 100$. I was all proud of myself for getting the money for my neighbor etc.....I called her to let her know Annick liked them and wrote a check for 100$ and my neighbor was like well now maybe my husband's cousin would be intersted and maybe she would give me 120$ for them...WTF!!!!!!!!!!! How can you sell something to someone and then change your mind if you can get more money from someone else! I was so pissed at her. What am I supose to do go back to Annick and take them back. She paid YOU the asking price you can't change you mind!
It might not sound like a big deal if your reading this but really it's pissing me off! It's not the first time she does stuff like that to me. Luc keeps telling me I should be more careful with her but I just she didn't have a lot of friends and I would be nice to her. Everyone kept warning me that this girl was weird and another girl in the street had to call the cops on her once because apparantly the neighbor I was talking about kept calling her house and hanging up on her...Of couse my neihbor denies this but now I'm not so sure... No wonder she has no friends.
