Normally such large supernatural events are observed by many Mages, all with theories and thesis to explore based on there paradigm. This was not being observed in a any way that I could discern and thus I was forced to determine its nature on my own. I began with a search of the library looking for the usual holes in mundane filing that avoid the supernatural texts and after some shifting I came across a small pile of papers, old, worn and yellow with age. On the pages was some sort of Enochian, but despite my mastery of the language it was beyond my comprehension. Along with the pages were a torn ticket stub and an article referring to a carnival on the same grounds long ago. With the article, stub and pages in hand I headed to the center of the carnival… to the Big Top.
Inside I was greeted by a man, well he appeared to be a man, but we will discuss that later, named Dr. Celestine (a name that in hindsight should have sent the greatest insight into his being). The doctor was discussing something with some others but greeted me heartily as I entered. He bid me sit and I did, as it is foolish to deny the obviously powerful. It was here that I met Marcus, a Hallow One (but I won’t truly hold that against him). After some discourse the group within the Big Top dispersed, making there way outside. I attempted to converse with the other supernatural beings (Were creatures and Vampires, according to the training I have received) and maintained a ready watch over the two Sleepers who seemed ill at ease in this setting.
Then perhaps the most Uncomfortable experience in my life (up to that point) a marauder named Asher pulled me into his quiet and… well I’m not sure as to what exactly happened, but he mashed me into Marcus. And as a composite being we were released, took about five steps and saw a Gigantic Werewolf charging in our direction, after some debate we/I /us attempted to use our magic, but to no avail. Let’s just say we were quite crispy after that explosion and the next clear memory I have is laying face up, healed and separate from Marcus. Then Dr. Celestine began a council, for which I was chosen as the temporary representative, He stated that the collective represented supernatural beings had been preying on the humans for far too long and that he was leveling the playing field. After some issues about territory from a sniveling Rat Kin I offered the protection of the Magi to the fledgling council. The Doctor departed the area in a burst of glory that I am proud to have witnessed. I went home and slept the sleep of the dead.
