Nick has inspired me
Sorry Nick, I am sort of stealing your idea. Sorry dudeski(y)! I was thinking last night that I am a little lazy when it comes to writing jokes. I just don't make myself sit and pound out ideas the way I should.
Then I got to thinking about how Nick writes a song a day. That blows my mind so in turn I am willing to blow him.
But it made me think that if he can write a song a day then I should be able write at least one joke a day. So thanks Nick.
Now! On the joke a day thing. Some will be longer stories and some will be just one or two liners. Probably most of the ones I post will be one or two liners, only because my longer bits takes a while to work out. This is going to be strange though because delivery is 90% of comedy. So longer stories are probably not going to happen on here. But it never hurts to have a some short jokes.
Today's joke: It is amazing how changing around just a few words in a sentence can change the meaning entirely. For example: "The nurse came so I got first aid." As opposed to "I came first so the nurse got AIDS."
There ya go. Not the best way to start off a joke a day thing seeing how it wasn't that funny but it was all I could think of. Hopefully they will progressively get funnier as I go. Short jokes are difficult!
