Hello, I'm Daniel Jackson. Try to stay calm. Are you in a safe location away from the crabs? Did any of them bite you?

[momentary pause, then a sigh] I'm better at this in person, but...I'll try to explain. For one, yes, there are a lot of people on this island. We're all kind of trapped here, and most of us ended up here suddenly just like you did. The crabs are one of the biggest problems, but obviously you've already seen them.

There's...a lot more to the situation, but I don't want to overload you. Like I did with Kirk. You shouldn't go outside if you think the crabs are still out there; we should be able to send a few people your way to break you out of there. Do you think you'll be okay until someone can come for you?
