commitment might as well be a 4-letter word

I've never tried to foster puppies before. As soon as I opened my home to three of them, I immediately wondered why I said yes. Everyone tells me it's because I'm a nice person and I'm sure I am but I think it has to do more with me being a committed person. I would feel extremely guilty if I didn't help out an innocent life. Many times I've driven past strays when I lived closer to Swiss Ave and I just couldn't help them! It drove me crazy and now that I have the opportunity to help out, I'm immediately turned off by the action of one woman.

She rang the doorbell at 7 am today. She said her grandma just died and she has to go out of town. She doesn't know how to take care of the puppy she just adopted for her 2-year-old. Of course my roommate and I took Rolo back, and I'm glad she didn't just abandon him somewhere. But seriously, where did her manners go? You just don't show up unannounced to give back something you committed to just 6 days ago!

Please pass along Rolo's picture to anyone looking for a puppy. He's a beagle mix and about 10 weeks old. Thank you!
