34. Semi Pro
35. Bolt
36. Eagle Eye
37. Curse of the Golden Flower Chow Yun Fat was ruthless but the movie wasn't that good to me.
38. Vicky Christina Barcelona
39. The Onion Movie Funny as hell. RIP Rodney Dangerfield.
40. Cadillac Records
41. Shooter
42. The Ruins terrible
43. Bride Wars Sometimes we have to watch Lauren's movies too. Anne Hathaway is easy on the eyes.
44. X-Men Origins: Wolverine Much better in theaters than the work print I saw a month prior. I still hate how they screwed up Deadpool though.
45. Sex Drive. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was so weird seeing Dale from Greek act like such a womanizer. We watched the Unrated version so I'm assuming there were much more titties, vagainas and penises than necessary. The fart jokes were A+ too
46. The Mist
47. A Scanner Darkly This was a weird flick. I liked it for the most part though
48. City of Men Maybe I set the bar too high. Maybe it was because the voices were dubbed instead of having subtitles to read. Maybe the movie just wasn't that good, but I didn't really like this all that much. City of God >>>>>>>>>> this.
49. Lakeview Terrace Good popcorn flick. Sam Jackson cracks me up and Kerri Washington is beautiful
50. Fast & Furious These are my guilty pleasure movies. I enjoyed all of them, even the bullshit Tokyo one. LOL at the foot scene in this movie, I didn't care for how it ended though.
51. Transporter 3 Another guilty pleasure. Utterly ridiculous, but easy to enjoy mindlessly.
52. Underworld I thought I had seen this before, but I remembered nothing from it. So I'll count it.
53. Kobe Doin' Work
54. Shutter. Not really a fan. Kind of a neat story though.
55. The Signal Dope fucking flick. I think it was filmed in Atlanta too. I recognized this during the trek to Terminus III and it looked lik a lot of that part of the film was shot inside of the Georgia World Congress Center.
56. Traitor Very solid flick. I love these types of movies.
57. Pathology Wicked flick! I enjoyed the first half of it WAY more than the last 30 minutes. The gratuitous nudity, sex, and lesbianism were only added bonuses. I was wondering how they were going to wrap it up.It's one of those 'rainy day' movies.
58. Rachel Getting Married Aside from Fab 5 Freddy making an appearance, I wasn't really interested in it. Supposedly it's a good movie, but maybe I didn't give it a fair chance since I wanted to watch the To Catch A Predator marathon and/or True Blood since I'd recently purchased season 1 on DVD
59. UP! Great flick. Nobody is fucking with Pixar. It's not the Incredibles, but it's at top 3 for me
60. Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist I guess it was a charming movie. It was kinda weird. So many characters from Judd Apatow flicks it was hard NOT to like it.
61. Kung Fu Panda
62. The Spirit
63. Evolution Not as bad as The Spirit, but pretty bad. It felt like David Duchovony was trying to do his best Jeff Goldblum impression. I don't know what I was expecting, but I expected more
64. Run Fatboy, Run
65. The Hangover Pretty freaking funny. Alan, the weirdo with the beard was hysterical.
66. X-Files: I Want to Believe I wanted to like this...
67. Henry Poole is Here I really enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of dramas for dramas sake, but it has a good story. I saw like 3/4 of it on a plane trip somewhere but was too tired to finish it. Glad I finally got around to it.
68. Employee of the Month Not the Dane Cook one, but one that was probably less funny than that and I am not a fan of Dane Crook at all. I LOL'd at the very end though.
69. Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen I enjoyed this. No thinking, just strictly T&A, guns, transforming robots and explosions. How summer blockbusters should be. Saw this one in IMAX.
70. Fred Claus Actually pretty good holiday flick. I BELIEVED Paul Giammati was Santa Claus. It's not fucking with The Santa Claus though
71. Gossip Pretty good premise at first, but then it went too far. Cyclops as a rapist was pretty weird. Weirder than him being in Sex Drive even. Ed Almos was G though
72. The Girlfriend Experience Terrible. Not much more can be said. Maybe I just didn't get it. Sasha Grey is ridiculously hot though.
73. Hellboy II: The Golden Army Dope fucking movie. I don't think I've ever seen a bad Guillermo del Toro flick.
74. Deception First 20 mins or so start off like a Skinemax flick. It was just ok. Michelle Williams is gorgeous. Wow. I thought I figured out the twist early on. The flick was pretty decent, Hugh Jackman plays a pretty good asshole.
75. The Prophecy Interesting plot, pretty bad acting. Walken's swag was on a hundred thousand trillion though.
76. Obsessed Beyonce is a terrible actress. The plot was ridiculously over the top. Ali Larter is hot. The entire movie is unintentionally hilarious. I probably won't watch it again though.
77. Burn After Reading Awesome. John Malkovich is the shit. Funny as hell. It's not as funny as The Big Lebowski, but it's in that same type of vein.
78. Wild Hogs Not as bad as I thought it would be. Whatever happened to Tim Allen anyway?
79. The Business Pretty run of the mill gangster flick. Dude works his way up, gets on top of the world, get's greedy and falls off. I like gangster flicks though. Only difference with this one was that the gang activity was going on in Europe.
80. Punisher Warzone I should've went to see this in theaters. Most violent flick I've seen since Rambo. A+++
81. Inkheart Weird fantasy flick. Never heard of it before, watched it on the plane ride to Hawaii (along with the other two flicks above this one before my iPod died). What a waste of a Jennifer Connelly cameo though.
82. Hot Rod So stupid, but so funny. Ryan Sandberg's pretty funny, so is that dude from East Bound and Down. I can't think of his name right now. Also Isla Fisher is ridiculously pretty. If you like slapstick humor, you'll like this, if not stay away.
83. Underwold: Rise of the Lycans Pretty dope. I think I'm starting to get into these types of sci-fi / horror flicks. That new Wolfman movie with Benicio Del Toro looks BANANAS
84. The Express I love football movies. This is easily the best football flick I've seen since Any Given Sunday. Touching story too. This country used to be REALLY fucked up.
85. I Love You Man Funny as shit. Jon Favreu stole the flick. Dude was the consummate asshole. I loved it. That dude from Forgetting Sarah Marshall is pretty funny too. Rudd is already that dude.
86. Inglorious Basterds Dope. I'd been waiting for this for quite some time. I'm a bit of a Tarantino stan though. The guy that played Colonel Landa aka The Jew Hunter gave a GREAT performance. LOL at Tarantino having a legit angle in the story to showing Diane Kruger's feet though. I loved this movie.
87. The Final Destination Like Fast & the Furious, these are guilty pleasure movies. The death scenes were crazy elaborate, and some of the shit was really funny. The redneck cracked me up, the ending was not on par with the first three. I enjoyed it though.
88. The Love Guru What my Spanish homeboys would call 'pura basura.' Easily the worst movie I've seen so far this year. I laughed at the fart jokes, but that's about it, there were lots of penis jokes.
89. Dance Flick Hilarious. Even more fun to watch when you're drunk on a plane (at least to me it was). Very very slapsticky. If you didn't like the first 2 Scary Movies, you will probably not like this though.
90. W. Meh.
91. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor Only watched it because Jet Li was in it and it was on HBO and I couldn't sleep...
92. Marley & Me Better than I expected.
93. Drag Me to Hell More funny than scary. Gypsy's kinda freak me out. I really liked this, will probably buy it on DVD.
94. Paranormal Activity Pretty good flick. Some of the scares were hokie but the story was interesting. The main chick kind of looks like one of my lj friends. Reminded me of her too, but maybe it was just because it was in San Diego. The boyfriend was kind of an idiot. The last 30 minutes were dope though. You will probably either LOVE this movie or hate it.
95. Notes on a Scandal Good movie. Pretty twisted characters. The most messed up movie I've seen since The Shape of Things.
96. Without Bias Documentary on Len Bias. Saddest shit I've seen in a long time, or maybe I was just about to start my menses when I watched it. I almost teared up like 3 times.
97. GI Joe: Rise of Cobra If I didn't go see this movie, the 1989 model of myself would never forgive the 2009 model of myself. It was dope though. I really enjoyed it. Even more so than Transformers 2. I guess maybe it was because of low expectations...the special effects were spot on and the dude that played Cobra Commander was a G.
98. Definitely, Maybe Definitely a chick flick, but I dug it. Isla Fisher chick made it much easier to follow. I almost teared up a little too. I'm pretty sure when I have a kid it's going to be a daughter even though I want a son. (I know how random, right?).
99. Orphan I liked it. That chick made The Good Son look like Wally & Beav from Leave it to Beaver
100. The U Another 30 for 30 documentary on ESPN. What a dominant team. Since the 80s they've played in a national championship game in every decade. Cool seeing where so many NFL players came from and how they changed the face of college football.
101. Black Dynamite Hilarious. If you like slapstick comedies, Blaxplotiation films, and Kung Fu, you will probably enjoy this too.
102. Oldboy Yeah, I know I'm like half a decade late, but whatevs. Great flick, but it is FUCKED up. From the teeth pulling, to the eating of a live mollusc, to incest...Geez. The story was dope though, but WOW... I think the closest thing comparable that I've seen this year is Teeth, and that's a movie about a chick with teeth in her vagina.
103. Revolver A little smarter than your run of the mill British gangster flick. It got a little weird towards the end, but I liked it anyway.
104. Cocaine Cowboys Interesting documentary on what the drug trade did to Miami beginning in the late 70s. I'm surprised there hasn't been a movie done about Griselda Blanco and her gang. Holy shit. It was a good documentary, very interesting.
105. Descent I got sucked in by Rosario Dawson's good looks, but man this movie was crazy. Really fucked up movie, I should've read the description before I started watching it. I saw the NC-17 version. The last 20 minutes makes the last 10 minutes of Requiem for a Dream look like a Disney flick.
106. Boondock Saints Yeah I'm real late with this one. This movie is crazy as hell. Pretty dope action flick. Interesting concept.
107. Kidulthood Kind of like a British version of Larry Clark's Kids. Way more Hollywood/Dramatic, but a waaaaaay doper soundtrack/score and I'm not even really a fan of grime
108. Paul Blart: Mall Cop Kind of terrible. I laughed out loud a few times though. The red head from Glee is in it.
109. Jade A lot of terrible. Especially the ending. David Caruso's swag was ridiculous and Linda Fiorentino was fly though. Wish I could take the time back I spent watching it.
110. Dirty Typical crooked LA Cop film with a bit of a twist. Think of it as the Wal-Mart version of Training Day. I kinda liked this movie even though Cuba Gooding, Jr was acting like a baffoon.
110. Blindness Interesting premise for a flick. Everyone in a small town starts going blind...then people become savages? It was crazy, pretty fucked up movie. Towards the middle of the film, I felt like I was watching 28 Days Later. It took a while for the story to develop, I'm not even sure if I really liked it.
112. Karla This movie was pretty messed up. I can't believe there are people like this really out there...
113. Cocaine Cowboys 2 Not as good as the first one, but at least it delved into the crack epidemic found it's way into black neighborhoods....sort of. Griselda is fascinating, dope story about how some dude in Oakland became a drug kingpin (no pun intended).
114. The International Decent story, but kind of a snooze fest. The shootout in the Guggenheim Museum saved the movie. That shit was awesome.
