To simplify things I broke them down by subject:
Today: Ah, Friday, so we meet again. Fridays are always busy, frusterating, and rushed. The Man did not hold us down with the 8 period schedule, but much oppression was to be had by the onslaught of the report card. Luckily I was pleasantly surprised in a few areas, but with college deadlines approaching swiftly, these small victories can not be dwelt upon. On the way home I hit a piece of wood or something on west cary, flattened the tire. So I had to blow it back up and drive to the garage to get it repaired.
College stuff: Tuesday was my college meeting, and my dad kept trying to turn it in to a parent teacher conference. I told both of them that I didn't want to here them speak other than polite formalities, but, things change. In my own mind I think I've decided on Christopher Newport University, even though some people have given me crap about it, of course, though, they were promptly killed. CNU's got a great ROTC program that they share with W & M, and they've got amazing facilities, and they're right on the beach. I'm currently gathering things for my early action application. Unfortunately their average GPA jumped like a quarter of a point, and their average SAT jumped like 50 points last year, those douches. This won't help any, we'll see if it hurts.
Carpool: As the year continues my "carpool" (term used loosely here, more accurately "the people I give rides to") is getting exponentially larger. First Elise, then Melissa, now Nathan, often times their are various cameos such as Taylor, Walker, Chris's sister... it's rediculous.
Baseball: Baseball practice started. Showering at school builds character.
The Election: America has voted and the silent majority has laid down its decision, too bad we'll be hearing about it from the loud whiney minority for forever. I'm glad though, I'd much rather be serving overseas under Bush than Kerry. Plus look at the great coming attractions Bush has in store: Social Security Reform, Rising Economy, More post-war Iraq organization, and maybe even... tax cuts? Oh boy, these next few years will be fun, huh?
SATs: The Man is making me take SATs tommorow morning at the frickin' butt crack of dawn. Dammit!
