A few people got hurt today... possibly because of the voice. Although I don't think it can be that simple.

I'm not sure. I wasn't paying the best attention of the Network this weekend.

It's more than hearing the voice... it sounds like, they were being prodded to act because... Mommy know best?

I'm not exactly sure, but it makes sense if you think about it. I wasn't affected by this particular curse, so I can't compare notes.

Does it have to be the mother exactly? A place like the City must thrive on loose definitions... so then, was it a mother-like figure?

I don't see why not... some people don't have mothers and others don't have mothers in the traditional sense. I'm not sure what the Worm would consider a mother, so a mentor who was nurturing... or terrifying could easily work here.

I don't know... this curse seems to be subtle. It wasn't a completely obvious one... that's if we actually got it as it is.
