That makes no sense...regardless of the guilt of whomever was involved, your obligation was to the community and to end the confrontation by calling the police. Who gives a shit who you knew or didn't know, you just froze up and did the wrong thing. It is not being NARC, it is keeping someone from possibly being badly hurt or killed.

You're right, you don't have to justify yourself to me. And please, don't ever feel the need to do so. You only need to justify yourself to... yourself... You are your own God and the own ruler of your own universe. Where do your morals come from? You! Where do your beliefs come from? You! And you can change them as often as you change your boxers...
