A copy of my script is now in the hands of Avella's Superintendent. He is reading it to determine if it's viable for this year's production. Ultimately, I suppose, he'll decide if we're doing it or not, and recommend such to the school board there. So it's still a big maybe, and I'm still nervous. But at least the wait should be over soon, and we'll know one way or another.
It doesn't help that at the moment, I'm thoroughly enraged by the strangle-hold Verizon has on my person, well-being, and wallet. I'm finding it difficult to even think straight and type right now.
Anyone know any good alternatives to this modern communication-junkie's dilemma of needing broadband access and cellular telephone? Got any good leads on non-verizon alternatives? Should I just pull the plug and revert to smoke signals and two cans on a string? It doesn't seem that a regular guy like me really needs to be spending over a hundred bucks a month on cell service. I mean, really.
More to follow. I really need to hunker down and do another revision on the script, but I can't seem to get my head in it lately. We shall see.
