Heh. Working working working. You're like one of Snow White's dwarves, always working. (So says me, after all, I went home from work for a whole 4 hours last night!)
I would have dropped that job down to about 20 hours per week during school anyhow. But Western said, "Here's a metic ass-ton of money to study!" How could I say no?
Plus, the other job has already bumped up my hours a bit. They're a bit more flexable what with being open 24-7.
A good portion of it is student loans. As much as I want a decent education, I'm gonna be in debt to my eyeballs when I graduate.
But I'd rather be free to study and not worry about work so much and be a little in debt on the back end than deal with having to get up at oh-god-thirty to drag my ass to work when I could be doing actual homework.
Oooh ... good idea. I don't know that I'll be able to actually put half in, but I can make due with a large-ish portion. Crunching numbers lately, it would seem that I'm going to be able to live (rent, food, bills, etc.) completely off my financial aid. And I should be able to squirrel enough away to not have to work as much during the summer, either. The $$ from working at the store will go toward roller derby stuff.

But some time in the near future, I'm going to have to invade your bubble. If only to meet the menagerie.

The one that was taking up most of my time, actually.
So I've had two whole days off.
It was fabulous.
And yeah, like you've got room to talk. :P

It's not actual derby, or even actual try outs, just yet.
It's an 8-week "boot camp" designed to teach important techniques and safety.
I should know by, say, Thanksgiving if I've made it.
