(no subject)
So my group of friends and I did an early Thanksgiving last Saturday. It was a potluck so I brought vegan mashed potatoes, Chili sin Carne al Mole (that I got out of Vegan With A Vengeance) and a Dark Chocolate Coma.
The latter two went down well. People were amazed that my chili was vegan. And the pudding was a success, even though some people thought it was gravy at times. But the mashed potatoes were ignored in favor of this other recipe that used bacon and parmasean cheese. So now I have hella mashed potatoes...
Most annoying thing of the night was when this guy, Karl (who I made a previous entry about in this community) requested that I eat meat. I think he's the only one that doesn't understand my commitment. I gave him my most annoyed and angry "No. I will never eat meat." that anyone with social skills could pick up on.
