Yesterday I sold my old acoustic to my friend Rick, who happens to know a couple of lefties who are interested in learning guitar. I'm glad that it went to a good home. That guitar certainly has more sentiment and frustration attached to it than anything else I've played. Everytime I get rid of an old guitar, I'm always a little nervous that I haven't gotten all of the songs out of it and that whatever takes its place won't have any songs in it to begin with. I've personally found that Strats contain many more songs than Flying V's, regardless of the direction in which they're strung.
Incidentally,
this is my current dream guitar. Hopefully in the next year or so I'll either be able to track one of these down or find a nice acoustic. Of course, even more hopefully I'll be able to find a job so I can actually afford one.
