Here is the second part of my Christmas story. Enjoy!
A Disorderly Christmas: Part Two
“Jack! Oh, my baby!” cried his mother. She ran to him and embraced him tightly. Jack prayed that she didn’t notice his semi-aroused state. Over her shoulder, he saw his father, standing still with his hands in his coat pockets. The old man’s expression was unreadable.
“Ennis…?”
“He brought us out here to visit you for Christmas!” Mrs. Twist said. She held Jack’s face in her hands and gave him a big kiss on each cheek. “Aren’t you happy to see us?”
“Well, yeah,” Jack replied. “I’m just…in shock, I guess.”
Ennis took the couple’s coats and put them away, as Jack and his parents sat down. “How are you, Dear?” his mother asked.
“I’m doing great,” Jack answered. He told them all about his and Ennis’ life, helping out over at the Sweet Life farm, which was owned by Ennis’ aunt and uncle. “How are you two?” he asked them finally, glancing briefly at his father before focusing on his mother again.
“Oh, we’re fine,” his mother said. “We miss you a lot, though…don’t we, John?” She looked over at her husband.
“You going to school out here?” Mr. Twist asked his son.
“I was. I’m finished now,” Jack replied. “Like I said, I’m helping out at the farm, with the books and all that.”
“Well, I would say that living in Nevada certainly suits you,” Mrs. Twist said. “You look healthy and happy.”
Jack smiled. “I am. Ennis and I are both really happy here.”
“So, you’re not a cop anymore?” Mr. Twist asked Ennis, who had come back into the room.
“No, Sir,” Ennis answered. He sat with his hands clasped tightly in front of him, his back ramrod straight in the chair. In the past, Jack’s father had been nothing but hostile toward him, accusing Ennis of being the one who “turned” Jack gay. Now, Ennis had to keep reminding himself to stay calm and not be quick to lash out at the older man.
“Ennis is a full-time cowboy now,” Jack said with a grin. “So, how long are you guys here for? Are you staying for Christmas?” The big day was a week away; he wondered if he could handle having them stay that long.
“No, we’ll only be here for two days,” his mother responded. “Your father doesn’t like being away from home for very long, you know.”
“I like bein’ in my own bed,” Mr. Twist barked. “Somethin’ wrong with that?”
“Of course not, Sir,” Ennis interjected. “I completely understand. I’m that way myself, matter of fact.”
“Jack…don’t you want to put some shoes on, Dear?” Mrs. Twist asked. “Or, do you always walk around the house barefoot?”
Suddenly remembering his disheveled state, Jack jumped up from his seat. Running his fingers through his mussed hair, he remarked, “Uh, yeah, let me go finish getting dressed. I was, uh, taking a nap when you all arrived.”
Ennis barely suppressed a chuckle as Jack went by.
“I can’t believe you brought my parents out here,” Jack said to Ennis later that night, after dropping Mr. and Mrs. Twist off at their hotel.
“I figured since you hadn’t seen them since we moved here, it’d be a nice surprise,” Ennis replied. “You’re not…mad at me or anything, are you, Jack?” Seated on the bed, he looked worriedly over his shoulder as he took off his boots.
“No, of course not,” Jack said. He removed his own clothes and crawled naked across the bed toward his boyfriend. “I’m just amazed that they agreed to come out.”
“Well, your mom was ready to go as soon as I called. Your dad took some convincing.” Ennis turned undressed, then turned fully around to gather Jack in his arms, reveling in the feel, the smell, of his young lover. He captured Jack’s mouth with his own, kissing him until they were both breathless and aroused.
Jack lay back and pulled Ennis down on top of him. “Tomorrow should be interesting,” he said, wrapping his arms about Ennis’ torso. “I hope my folks get along with Aunt Lynn and Uncle Bob.”
“I’m sure they will.”
“Hey, Ennis?”
“Hmm?”
“I love you.”
Ennis leaned down so their foreheads touched. “I love you, too, Jack,” he murmured. They kissed some more, with increasing passion, their groins rubbing together, driving each other mad with need. Finally, Jack rolled over and presented his round, firm ass to his lover.
“Come on, Ennis, come on.”
Ennis slicked himself up and used three fingers to prepare Jack’s entry. “Jack…I gotta…I can’t wait no more.”
“Me, neither. Do it, Baby.”
The sheer ecstasy of that first moment of penetration had them both moaning aloud. Jack grabbed a pillow to anchor himself, as Ennis slowly began to thrust in and out.
With Ennis inside of him, loving him, possessing him, Jack felt a sense of completeness. He and Ennis showed their love for each other in many different ways, but it was through sex that they were the most proficient. It had been that way between them from the beginning, their bodies expressing what words often could not.
Jack closed his eyes and focused all his attention on the feel of Ennis inside and on top of him. Reaching back, he took hold of Ennis’ hand and brought it forward to his own raging erection. Ennis got the hint and began to stroke; his steady movements both in front and in back soon drove Jack to delirium.
He climaxed with a tremendous shout; behind him, Ennis grunted, thrust once more, and then came as well. They rested for a moment, before Jack said, “Damn, Ennis, you weigh a ton,” and Ennis rolled off of him with a chuckle.
They cleaned up and then returned to bed, where they both fell asleep almost immediately. Sometime later, Ennis curled his body around Jack’s in a protective sort of position, holding Jack against him for the remainder of the night.
“It’s great that you were finally able to come out and see Jack,” Aunt Lynn said, as she placed the last dish on the table and then sat down.
“We’re pleased that Ennis invited us,” Mrs. Twist replied. “He paid for our trip, as a surprise for Jack.” “How nice!” Aunt Lynn reached across to pat her nephew’s hand. “Ennis has always been such a thoughtful person.”
Next to Ennis, Jack put his glass of milk to his mouth to keep from giggling.
Aunt Lynn went on: “He and Jack are such sweet boys.”
“Men,” Uncle Bob corrected, with a roll of his eyes. “They’re grown men, Lynn.”
“Well, whatever.” She smiled at Ennis and Jack fondly. “I think it’s wonderful that they found each other, and that they came out here to Nevada to live.”
Jack’s father frowned. “So, you’re okay with…all this?” he asked, waving his hand at his son and Ennis.
“John is still getting used to Jack being…umm…having a…boyfriend,” Mrs. Twist explained.
“We don’t have a problem with it,” said Aunt Lynn. “We love our nephew and want him to be happy. And, he’s happy with Jack. Aren’t you, Dear?”
“Yes, Ma’am,” Ennis replied, sparing a brief glance at Jack’s parents. “The happiest I’ve ever been.”
“And, I’m happy, too,” Jack proclaimed, smiling big and slinging his arm around Ennis. “We’re all happy. Now, let’s eat!”
“Jack!” his mother gasped, but the del Mars just laughed.
The meal went well, with very little drama (thanks mostly to Ennis’ aunt and uncle). Afterwards, Uncle Bob took Jack’s father out to show him around the farm; Jack and Ennis tagged along. Not long after, Uncle Bob gave them a look that said he wanted to speak with Mr. Twist alone, so they quietly slipped away, Ennis leading Jack behind the barn for some private time of their own.
The moment they were out of the older men’s eyesight, Ennis pushed Jack against the wall of the barn and kissed him, long and hard. When they finally came up for air, Jack looked about and noticed something. “Hey, look - our initials are still here.”
Ennis traced the letters on the wall with his fingertip and smiled a little. The first time he’d brought Jack out from Delaware to visit the farm, they’d made out behind the barn, and Jack had carved EDM + JT in the wood. “Been what, three years now?” Ennis mused.
Jack nodded. “Three years. Damn,” he laughed softly. Leaning closer so their foreheads touched, they stood and looked at one another, love and tenderness reflecting in their eyes. Then, holding hands, they headed back up to the house.
When the time came for Jack’s parents to return to Delaware, he went along with Ennis to see them off at the airport. At the waiting area, Jack’s mother embraced him, saying, “You be good now.”
Jack just smiled. “Call us when you get in,” he said.
She then turned to Ennis. With a soft expression, she took him in her arms and hugged him tightly. “Take care of my boy,” she whispered to him.
“I will,” he whispered back. “You have my word.”
She drew back and held onto his hands. “You’re a good man, Ennis del Mar,” she said. “My son is lucky to have you.” Ennis swallowed had and averted his eyes.
Mr. Twist stepped forward to shake Ennis’ hand. “Thanks for bringin’ us out,” he said gruffly. “We appreciate it.”
“You’re welcome, Sir,” Ennis replied.
The older man faced his son. “Jack,” he said simply, “good to see ya. Take care now.” He placed his hand on Jack’s shoulder and gave it a pat or two. “It was good seeing you, too,” Jack said. “Have a safe trip.”
As the Twists began to walk away, Mrs. Twist suddenly turned around and called, “Oh, Merry Christmas!”
“Merry Christmas!” Jack and Ennis called back, waving.
As they headed back to the car, Jack asked, “So…I’m still getting a real present on Christmas, right?” Ennis gaped at him, and he cackled. “I love ya, Ennis,” he said, planting a noisy kiss on his boyfriend’s cheek.
“Damn Jack Twist,” Ennis groused, shaking his head. “I love you, too.”
