Ok, wow, it's been a while.
Where to start? Lets see...
Ok, I've been officially accepted into the University of Saskatchewan! Woo go me. ^^
I'm really excited about getting accepted, the move, and the prospect of being able to realize all my ideas and ambitions. Though the biggest dose of pride I got was being able to do all of the paperwork, calling and info gathering with minimal procrastination. Woo!
Speaking of moving and such, I've started to look at new places to live. It's pretty cool, the university site has it's own database of every rentable place within 5 kms of the university. Pretty handy for someone in need of a place.
And after so much effort and trying I finally got my Passport! I tell you guys, that passport office thingy seemed to be working with the universe to stop me from getting a passport. From mistakes on the forms, impossible lines and, if you can believe it, floods... I had a heck of a time getting it. So now I can legally enter the US for Otakon. Take that Universe!
I've also booked my flight tickets too, just need to get the hotel arrangements done now... and find myself a Hockey stick, King Canuck needs a scepter!
Work is going well, I got a new job at a Coffee shop, I can't remember if I mentioned that or not. It's an ok place to work, the people there are really cool, just that it's not something that I want to do for any length of time. ^^;
It's interesting, just not that engaging mentally, except for the coworkers. It's pretty tiring being on your feet for so long though.
So it's been a pretty busy couple of weeks for me. A lot got done and I'm pretty proud of myself for doing all of it. ^^
Though I'm a little depressed that with all my focus on this life stuff my social life has suffered quite a bit, both online and off. Just when I intended to start getting on MSN and stuff more often I drop of the face of the net again. It's ticking me off that I can't focus on two aspects of my life at once, not to mention worrying about what it's going to be like once I get in University.
Looks like I've still got some work to do on this fixer-uper I call myself.
