... PRETTY BORED. He has found ways to entertain himself (there are PEOPLE TO TEASE and WEIRD THINGS TO INVESTIGATE and CAMP EFFECTS TO AVOID, and also magic to perform, which is always a good way to keep himself busy), but since he has kind of become a quick cynic as far as Camp is concerned and thinks it is REALLY DUMB and weird, he finds himself kicking at the ground and going :T more often than not, especially since he doesn't have a way to really challenge himself intellectually here (Kaitou Kid and the other detectives were good for that at home, but alas, they are not here and he hasn't found a way to introduce Kid into the setting yet). I don't think it'll be too long before he starts chanelling this pent up bored energy into ill-placed practical jokes. And magic shows, which are less ill-placed and more socially acceptable

She likes Kaito! He's in that group of campers that she checks up on regularly to make sure that they're okay. 'SUP KAITO, I FEEL SEMI-RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU. He's intelligent and fun, and Wendy enjoys their conversations. She suspects that there's more to him than ~meets the eye~ but doesn't think it's a nefarious thing, so she's content to leave it alone for now.
Kaito likes Wendy a lot in return! She's pretty funny and is on board with his odd sense of humor, which he likes, so he knows he can always talk to her when he's bored or something like that. He isn't aware that she feels like there's more to him than he present to her, but as long as she doesn't pry into it, he wouldn't mind even if he did know. Basically, she's cool, and is definitely someone he seeks out to speak with in Camp on occasion.
Whaaaat is Wendy's canon like since I know absolutely nothing about it?
AMAZING I mean. It's a 12 episode monster of the week type of thing, except the monsters are things like cursed tubas and mafioso gorillas. It's kind of cheesy effects-wise, since lol abc family, but it's v. well written and funny and references all the things. And everyone should watch it the end.
Would I have to know anything about Detective Conan to read Kaito's canon?
... oh that sounds cute. XD I think I should look it up if it's only 12 episodes! :|a
NOPE, not at all! Kaito's part of canon was started before DC, so it doesn't really reference it much, and the few times it does you don't really need to know anything about DC in order to get the references. It's the same the other way around, actually, though knowing about Kaito's canon does help the reader appreciate his cameos in DC more.
Because I love hearing about headcanon, do you have any particular bit for any of your characters that you're super fond of?
SWEET I've heard DC is long and I have no attention span. \o/
Most of my favorite headcanon is for Mindy/HG! Like how she and her dad had kung fu movie nights where they'd try to figure out how to do Impossible Move #216 in the real world and throw popcorn at the screen whenever someone did something stupid. Orr how her dad read her Batman: Year One before bed when she was little. I love cute/domestic kinds of headcanon and Kick-Ass leaves a lot of that open, so I get to insert a lot more of my own stuff for that movie than I do for my other canons.
