I called The Parent Trap stuff way early, like 'isolation cabin' early. The whole fic long I was thinking that this is the best mix of classic summer camp horror story, weechester!wincest fic and The Parent Trap ever!
I also totally called the 'sibling curse' thing too! Caught onto it before Sam, even! (The only thing that kind of confused me was that there seemed to be two pairs of siblings for 1938, the father and nanny and the two girls.)
And the last scene! It reminded me so much of my favorite moment from the show where the boys are sitting in the back of the Impala with Mary and John up front. OMG John's line. Classic! I died then just as I did now. Thanks!
I came into this story to find out why in the world Mary would take a 6mo on the road with her to hunt a demon. By the time I got into the present day I no longer really cared, the story was that captivating, I just figured she did and she didn't really have to have a reason. So it was a nice surprise to see that bit of the summary get explained at the end.
