I live
I just am very out of it a lot. This past week was a holiday week at work, and I got 42 or so hours in at work. Ooooyyyyy. And two of those days? I only worked just over 4 hours each. So imagine the other days. Yes.
- We also got a new supervisor. She's wonderful except when she's condescending. So... I waffle between 'you'll do, I get along fine with you' to 'you nutter'.
- kindoftrouble sent me more discs of Top Gear. I have watched them non-stop since Friday. I can't stop watching. And I am even thinking with a British accent now. And saying things like 'rubbish' and 'pillock'. And I really want an Aston Martin DB9.
Top Gear freakin pwns.
- My puppy, Marly, got her first round of vaccinations. And was found to have Round Worms. Drat. But not surprising apparently. She got her first treatment and she's been pooping worms. It's right terrifying. But she doesn't seem to be affected too horribly. Though omg, she HATED getting the shot. Poor dear.
Her paws are getting bigger again. God save us.
- Um... I bought her 20 dollars worth of chew toys. And shampoo that costs more than my Selsun Blue medicated, for god's sake. She's not spoiled. At all.
- I bought a shirt from Fright Rags to go alongside my Terror Train shirt, sort of. But not really, mostly I just wanted to buy another shirt from them. Good quality horror shirts. I got the one with Tom Atkins on it, from Night of the Creeps (which basically is Slither, but only made in the 80s), and it says 'Thrill Me' as that's what he says in the movie a lot.
Tom Atkins can also be seen in Halloween 3 (but god, don't sit through that horrible movie) and the much better, My Bloody Valentine (the remake).
At Texas Frightmare one year, when we met him, he clutched his chest and took horrified breaths. And we were like 'Dear god, he's having a heart attack and is going to die right here in front of us'. But no. He said, after sighing in relief, "Thank god. I thought I'd spilled my beer!"
So yes. He rules. And I am happy to have a shirt with him on it.
In conclusion... Hi. I read merlin fic most days, watch Top Gear others, play with my puppy, and work.
