Aww ok so we lost=((((( but!
I'm so proud of them! nothing would change from that, unless the score ended up being 4-5/nil..haha, cos that would've been just plain humiliating after all the hype.
i mean, hello? 5 time world cup champions vs. newbies??
WE HELD OUR OWN, pretty much equalised throughout the game in skill, and we had so many opportunities to get goals...which unfortunately just didn't score=(
I think it was just minor lapses in concentration that allowed Brazil to score. And the goals were more from lucky opportunities, not skill...and not trying to be biased here! *ahem*
i think the socceroos earned heaps of respect from that game which means more to me than a win..
So they better go and kick Croation ass!! and if they do, won't they have to verse brazil again for the game after?hmm
and, Peggs, for the first 10 mins of the game i was rooting for the yellow team damnit! old habits die hard. At first i didn't like the dark uniforms, why did WE have to change our colours grrr..and omg YES Schwarzer looked hot in red!!! receding hairline and all!!=D
and Ronaldinho looks like a snake. someone else said he looks like a horse. hmm debatable that is. it must be the teeth.
and haha! so many yellow cards! and Brazil's goalie looked mighty agro a lot of the time, think he was scared?? he seemed to be telling the players off a bit. with his eyes!
