just thinking..
Ah, you really feel that Christmas is just around the corner when u start seeing the first christmas lights flashing in the neighbourhood, and guys walking out of the shops carrying huge boxes of VB.
All i'm waiting for now is the horrible heat wave, christmas sales, influx of christmas cards, various tv versions of the birth of Jesus, summer movies galore, church, overload of turkey/ham, junk food and potato salad and annoying stalker flies- oh wait, right, they've come already..grr
And then before we know it, the turn of the new year will hit us and it will be all about the Fireworks, more church, more fooood, more shopping and for the lucky asian ppl- red packets..but of course;)
Wow, 3 months of holidays. Funny thing is, all the stuff i planned to do in the hols, i've now either forgotten about or lost the enthusiasm for. I figure it's because i ended up doing lot of the stuff when i was actually meant to be studying for my exams, heehee....BAD JACKIE! BAD!
And i've actually still got one more exam left, so even though i'm on 'holidays' my bludginess still walks in hand with my guilt. argh damnit!
I was going to study tonight, but hey! somethings on tv now- some B-grade gladiator thing..Empire?
Oh don't we all just love procrastination!...
