Things are going okay. I got a raise and a huge Christmas bonus from work, which ruled. I've been working on spending a lot of it, haha. I really want to stop spending for a while though and beef up my savings account. In the past month I bought a bunch of clothes, two pairs of shoes and expensive tickets to see Wicked on Broadway for my birthday. I'm really excited about that though, so I feel justified in spending the money. I also spent lots of money here and there on smaller things. I have a bright yellow post-it note on my credit card reminding me not to use it. Hopefully it'll work better than the bright pink post-it note on my stereo reminding me to wake up in the morning.
Like I said, things are going okay. School is stressful, especially when combined with work. Still, I appreciate having this job because I have a future here, and that's extremely comforting to know. My family is healthy and so are my friends, for the most part. I don't have much to complain about at all.
Here are some random things to look forward to:
• Seeing Wicked on Broadway with Mom and Christina (2/11/05)
• My birthday (2/19/05)
• BANE (3/7/05)
• The end of Winter Term and a week off (3/21/05)
• Extended weekend(s) down the shore this summer (6/05)
• Teaching Christina how to drive (7/05)
• Being done with classes (12/05)
• Going to Paris (5/06)
• Officially graduating from Drexel (6/06)
