Happy New Year, everyone! :]
New Year resolutions, anyone? I never really do these, because I never keep them anyone. And I forget them as soon as I make them.
HOWEVER.
NYR#1: Take more pictures. Because I always say I will, but then I never do because #1 I don't like being in pictures and #2 I'm too lazy. It'd be nice to have some "evidence" of the good times had, though.
NYR #2: Try and see the silver lining in most situations. For me, shocking, I know. But it’s pretty tiresome to worry all the time. In case you haven’t noticed yourself already.
NYR #3: Learn that I should NOT, under any circumstance, try to reason with my parents because I always fail to win. Even when I know I’m right. Pathetic, I know. But what can I say, they’re Asian parents.
NYR #4: Calvin and Hobbes. <3
I’m so done with 2006. What a crappy year. And don’t argue. First few months, I was battling with my injury, and once I recovered from that, I had to work on my physical condition since that went down the tubes. I had a rough time all the way up until about the middle of May. The summer went pretty well, except the 10,000 in Oklahoma. After that huge argument, the rest of the summer went very well. First, NO in Georgia. Then Clays in Memphis and Fed Cup in San Ramon. … And then downhill from there. I don’t want to talk about it. And about a week into December, I started to feel good on the court. BUT. The academy then proceeded to screw up my wrist. Now I know better than to go boxing. And there’s 2006 in a nutshell.
With that being said…
Goodbye, 2006. Hello, 2007.
