One Last Goodbye
Summer is almost over now and I feel as if our friendship has been over since before summer even began
Nevertheless, this entire season I fought and fought for you, I fought for Us and all you did was watch me struggle
Why? We were so inseparable; our friendship was unbreakable and could stand up against anything that came against us
Even after all the storms we have survived with no problem you just give up that easily without a care in the world
Why? How can you throw away all of the work we put into this relationship?
It’s over just like that; you find a love who stole your heart and feel as if we are able to be friends still, somehow
Take a look around you…it isn’t a reality…especially when she controls your every move and decision in life
I deserve more than this, You deserve more than this….but most of all WE deserve more than this
Why can you just sit back and enjoy the ride? You sit and hide behind those eyes of yours because you can’t face the truth
The truth is you aren’t happy even though you found the one who took your heart…
Our friendship is still in your heart somewhere, the urge to fight for what we had still lingers in your soul
We may never be friends again
However, I know that with even this last goodbye in our path that she may have your heart but….
