I like dressing up, too, as much as is practical for what I'm doing. Every day we're alive is a special day.
Do you read the Advanced Style blog (http://advancedstyle.blogspot.com/)? I like it, because it gives me hope for something better than the type of old age I have seen in my family.
I think people miss out when they choose to wear jeans to a play or to see a touring dance company. It's fun to get fancy-fied every now and then and it feels good to treat an event as special. To be able to treat every day as "special" and wear fancy clothes would be fun! If I didn't work with cats, I'd do it now! (Although, I HAVE often been told how nice I look at work, considering what I do. I think I'm fitting in with jeans, shorts, tee shirts, but I do get comments, so my efforts at looking put-together seem to be paying off. AND I buy most of those clothes at a nearby thrift store. Go me.)
I don't think I've ever seen a photo of you. Look at your cute expression! I love that you're wearing red! And the jewelry is lovely and beautifully described. Thank you for sharing this.
Your smug face looks like you're trying not to laugh. I love it! :D Chico's scares me. I never know how to act in places like that. The fanciest places I shop are Target and Kohls. You look wonderful in red and should scour the Repeat Boutique for bargains like that often. :) Grandmother meaning "harmony" in Korean is just so right. It's good to see you here, dear Jackie.

It is a lovely spring morning here, too, but HOT (going to be mid-nineties).
Time for a cool silk top, right?
