Long weekend
We had to put anchor (our mini-schnauzer) down this weekend. I'm so upset, my mom is even more upset. I know he was old (15) but still. Mom told me that when she took him to the emergency clinic the vet said his stomach was just full of blood. Apparently the cancer on his leg had finally spread to the rest of him. We made a little grave for him and we're going to plant some flowers. I know it's "just a dog" but he was so cute and so sweet. My mom feels awful. There's not much anyone can do about it either. The house was so quiet last night without him. I kept expecting to see him come around the corner. It's sad, and I miss my puppy.
In other news, Clay got a raise. I'm so happy. I can not tell you how worried I am about our finances. I'm scared, i know we'll be fine but we might be eating a lot of ramen. *sigh* I need a shrink, or a stiff drink.... or a big ass raise.
