its 7 o' clock - do you know where your mother is?

my plan to not leave my house this weekend and do obscene amounts of work was just about the most unsuccessful thing ever.

ive done no work, and im locked out of my house.
i'm sitting in my hallway (on my doormat), locked out of my apartment, listening to someone's un-neighborly loud radio. there are a bunch of 50-something-year-old radio men talking, but its all muffled, so you can't really hear what they're saying.

so, david bauer dragged me out of my house (figuratively, otherwise that'd be a little weird)this morning to work on our ss presentation. i learned a little about mccarthy, and a lot about how under no circumstance should one ever take public transportation through uptown/the bronx on the day of the puerto rican day parade.

***

breaking news: mom came home, i'm inside(!)
anyway, i also learned a lot about noah. (hes funny, and, believes in the gentrification of the world.)

back to friday...progressive forum benefit was interesting. i don't remember it very clearly, but im not sure if thats such a bad thing...
(but yay for surviving your first show)

dear box wine,
how to become wildly famous and successful:
1.survive first show
2.become wildly famous and successful
3.develop assorted drinking/cocaine problems
if you think about it, you're actually quite ahead of the game.

-someone keeps stealing my saturdays.

-if anyone wants an eating challenge, try a mango on a stick, on the train.
