The right side of our brain is called the artistic side. It's associated with visual and musical activity, with emotional empathy. It takes risks and makes leaps of divergent thought. It generates new ides and concepts. It breaks away from conventional patterns. It is the side that inspires, that motivates, that creates. It is the side that stimulates love and compassion in our hearts. Photography has a voice for me. It is a way for me to visually verbalize my artistic side. It speaks of truth and honesty, of love and emotion, that may otherwise be hard to express. In photography there is a reality so subtle and true, it cannot be hidden or disguised. It is the only instrument that can capture an image in passing and keep it, untouched, unchanged by time, It enables us to hold on to that moment of emotion in out hearts, and treasure it forever.
