Bracelet and some reshoots

Aug 17, 2010 12:06

Re shot these outside with lots... and I mean LOTS of natural light. Thanks to adrenalineshots for the suggestion. When she mentioned it, I was like 'Hey, it's Texas ya'll, figured I had that in spades.'

I swear, I wasn't out there for more than 20 minutes and the 'natural light' meant not being able to touch the jewelry or camera because in that short amount of time they'd heated up THAT much. At least the heat made me hurrrrrrrry... mother of God. I hate Texas in Summer.

The first one is my newest. It's a bracelet. Light green pearl with faceted crystals and sterling silver findings. I shot one on a white background and one on a green- the green is so soft it's like a silvery green but man, it's beautiful, especially against tan skin.

Below, I re-shot the other necklaces I recently made just because the lighting was better. Did I mention it was hard as hell to see the images in the view screen with all the friggin' sunlight? Made it hard to line up the subject right.

Everything I make is for sale. I've done wedding jewelry and custom birthday gifts and childrens jewelry. I'm investigating branching into the sports motif jewelry for those who have kids in sports and want to wear your kids number along with something that identifies the sport they're involved with.

Other than the sports motif jewelry, everything I make is 100% gemstone, sterling silver, swarovski crystals, gold filled- never any gold or silver plating or plastic, unless it's by request in favor of reducing costs.
