Yep, I broke up with Supernatural when they pulled all the ridiculous military stuff. Sorry, but you don't crap all over a Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and have a character's husband die-or-oopsie-he-actually-didn't-die in Iraq for a plot device.
Oh... dude, mind reminding me what season and or episode title that was? For some reason I'm ... I mean I remember Southern Comfort from last season -BLUGH- but I don't recall the Unknown Soldier ....
Unconscionably, they've crossed so many lines for me with regard to characterization that I'm to the point that I HATE.. and I mean with a purple passion.. HATE Sam! He's not always been my favorite but I've hurt for him in the past and I've resigned to accept his decisions because Dean accepts him (most of the time) and at least, he loves him. But man, season 8 just ripped that all apart. Season 6 didn't help, nor did season 7.. lol. Sensing a theme here?
But mostly, it's the lack of good story line for Dean. I'm kinda tired of Dean being Sam's coach and cheerleader. All. The. Time. So. Done! And I hope Jensen walks away after this contract is up and doesn't look back. Ever. Not even for the spin-off. Don't go back. I hope he's saving money so that he never has to go back just coz he needs the green.
Anywho. Too much other GOOD stuff out there to waste time on SPN any more. I'm watching but just for the pretty. There is no more story there for me.
