Pirates!
We're FINALLY off to see the Real Pirates exhibit at The Franklin Institute this Sunday.
Plans include seeing Navigation: From Pirate Ships to Spaceships in the Fels Planetarium and Wild Ocean in the Tuttleman IMAX.
Of course this weekend is ALSO World Space Week at The Franklin! The one thing all of are looking forward to is checking out the inside of that damn Lunar Lander we always see from the windows. :) Should be interesting.
In addition to this stuff there's only one other new permanent exhibit that we've not seen called Amazing Machine. Looks interesting and I'm sure we'll be checking that out after we check out the pirates.
We've also decided that this time around we're going to brown bag our lunch, yeah kinda old school. **snort** It's just that the food there is so damn expensive for what you get that we figured we'd just pick up sandwiches Sunday morning and be done with it.
Anyway - should be a fun visit.
