I am sorry, Captain. I know they were good friends to you. And Lady Amy was most kind. But, she will be with her husband again, will she not? That is a good thing.
[She's not touching the Doctor, because she can't say anything nice about the Eleventh one. Not after personality-swap week. But she manages a kind smile when speaking of his predecessor.]
The Doctor here will recover, worry not. We shall keep him safe until he does.
