[Here's Jack, sounding cheeky and chipper as ever.]

I think I'd commit murder for a proper cup of coffee. Or, at least, some of my friends would. Time to do some research, then. Suggestions are welcomed.

[There's a pause, as he gets this filter going, and then, somberly:]

goddamn events, coffee is life, angst all the time, filters are fun things

[There's a faint buzzing in the background, since Sarah Jane's currently working on stabilising some of the support beams with the help of her sonic lipstick.]

Good to know. Has it affected you, Jack?

No, but it's done the Doctor. Amy's version, anyway.

Lovely. I'll have to check the feed more carefully.

[She does just that for a moment, seeing the Doctor's message, and one other.]

It seems the Master's been affected as well. Any of the rest of us afflicted? No one's met me yet on their timelines, so it's difficult for me to say.

Not that I've seen. Just him and the Master, then.

That's a good thing for us, isn't it? The Master not knowing who he is? Given what you and the Doctor have said about him....

[Which reminds her.]

I don't suppose you know anything about the other Time Lord - Time Lady - who arrived recently? Romana, I think she said her name was?

[She'd said it to someone, and it wasn't filtered. And Sarah Jane's been keeping a watch for anyone else from their particular dimension.]

Yes, I suppose it is. I'm just worried about the Doctor.

I don't. I met her when she arrived, though. Apparently she travelled with the Doctor as well.

If both of him are affected, I'll worry more. If it's just the one, there's only so much trouble he can get into in a week.

[There's a pause as she realises what she's just said.]

We'll have to keep an eye on him.

I've only spoken with her briefly, but I've gathered that as well. We have the same dog.

Well, hopefully Rory or Amy will. He might ...hopefully listen to them.

[This is an amused beat.] Do you really?

Are Rory and Amy unaffected? I don't know them well enough to tell.

[And by 'well enough,' she means 'at all'.]

We do. Mine's a newer model, though. Doesn't mean he works any better, but he's been built more recently. The Doctor left him to me - I don't know how Romana got hers, but we have similar issues with him.

I couldn't tell you, I'm in the same situation.

[Same here. He's spoken to Amy, but it was here, and he hasn't had much discussion with Rory at all.]

I'd like to see him if it's ever possible. Sounds interesting.

This is the trouble with time-travel.

[But it's said with fondness. She wouldn't trade it for the world. She smiles at the request.]

You'll be able to get a glimpse of him sometime, I'm sure.

Among other things.

[Neither would he, aside from the 'being abandoned by the Doctor for a century' thing. Not that he's bitter or anything.]

Hopefully!

[She knows that bitterness, too. Thirty years, when you only get a century of life at most. It isn't easy to make yourself move on.]

It's a shame K9 isn't here. He'd be quite useful to have about. Fifty-first century supercomputer in the shape of a dog. Although, as Romana pointed out, he'd have a bit of trouble on the terrain.
