Woo.
Had my last driving course today, in which I kicked parallel-parking ass. I'm quite pleased.
I also drove to Chattanooga and back for the first time, which was another plus, but I didn't expect to have any trouble with that anyway. After riding back and forth between Dalton and Chattanooga almost every day for the past 7 years, the interstate is second nature to me. It's those cramped little turns at intersections that I tend to flunk up at, but I'm getting a little better.
But my instructor would still occasionally get onto me about my little love affair with the accelerator. During the parallel-parking practice, in which I was again reversing too fast for his liking, he turned to me, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Do you do EVERYTHING fast?".
I then laid atop the steering wheel and giggled for a while.
