Jack stares into the recesses of his room, hand clutched to his chest, mind racing. He takes a few moments to breathe, to close his eyes and Living fantasy of the immortal ( become human again ) The reality of an animal compose himself. He remembers someone else is in his room. Someone else has shared his bed. This is the future of an illusion "I'm fine," he says weakly. "It was just a dream."
There's a moment when she watches him, before sitting on the bed beside him, her ice blue eyes examining him.
"Well, those can be important," she says carefully, taking one his hands and pulling it gently from his chest, though not really making an effort to hold it.
It meant nothing, so why hold it? He pulls his hand back and rests it on the covers. I had a dream last night. About her? Yes. About her. "I'll be fine."
After another moment of watching him, "If you say so."
She gets up again, and returns to standing in front of the mirror, brushing out the last of the tangles in her hair.
As though indifferent, "Still, it may be good to talk about it. It is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes comes to the top."
She turns rather abruptly when Jack wakes. The kimono isn't really tied very tightly, and she walks closer.
"Are you all right?"

She removes her hand, noticing one side of her kimono starting to slip to far and moving to rearrange it.
