So, I haven't posted since July, but I have doubts as to whether or not anyone actually reads my journal, so it doesn't really matter.
Anyways, I've been laying low. Still working. I'm trying to catch up on some sewing as well. I'm trying to finish the curtains for my room before I start on anything cosplay-related. One of them is almost done. There's black at the top with hot pink at the bottom, and they come a few inches underneath my window.
Also, since my interest in anime has drastically weaned, I've been into other things. Namely, reading. I forgot how much I loved reading. I had started A Tale of Two Cities, but honestly, it wasn't that interesting. Now I'm trying to read all of the Shakespeare plays I own. I read Othello, The Tempest, and Cymbeline, and I'm re-reading Romeo & Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
I realized I never posted anything about Connecticon. It was a lot of fun to FINALLY be Ayane, since I had planned that costume about five years ago. I'm glad Brit did Kasumi's matching outfit, too. We rocked. If anybody hasn't seen my Ayane costume, you can check it out here:
http://www.cosplay.com/gallery/121706/ New planned cosplays: Belle (Beauty & the Beast), Ayane (camoflague skirt & blue corset outfit), Melissa (Parasite Eve), Leifang (leather shorts outfit)
There might be more, but those are the ones I'm actually excited about.
Also, I love James Bond. A lot. He is probably up there in my top favorite fictional characters list with Hamlet and Alfred Ashford. It's incredibly random, but I felt like saying it.
