"You have no code, no porn, and you're ugly." -Futurama
Anime Boston was a lot of fun! A brief recap of the weekend. Cori and Saru slept over my house so we could leave early. We were only about a half an hour later than planned, which was some kind of record for us. I was Sasori, Saru was Gaara, and Cori was Guy. We met up with Sarah and Brit later. We did wait in line for about 2 hours though. Which, wasn't that much compared to other people. We wandered around for a while. The dealer's room was pretty cool. I also played Guitar Hero as Sasori. Talk Dirty To Me. Yeah. That song was stuck in my head all weekend, hence why I kept singing it. That and reciting Hamlet. Oh and we went in the hot tub for about 2 and a half hours. I'm surprised we didn't like, die. Then we went to the rave and stayed until it ended. Then, me, Brit, Saru, Gary and Steve sat out in the hallway next to our room and ordered pizza at 3:00 in the morning. We didn't go to bed until past 5:00. XD
Next day Saru and I did Schoolgirl Hinata and Sakura, then changed into their Shippuuden outfits and Brit did Ino so we all matched. We went to the Naruto photoshoot, then Brit and I put on our bunny ears and grabbed our Easter baskets and handed out Easter eggs while everyone else went to eat. Later though we got sushi, which was amazing. We went to the rave for a little while but didn't stay too long. I was tired. And the music sucked.
There were a lot of good cosplays this year. I'm sad there were no hot Sasukes though. Seeing the old-school cosplays makes me want to do a DBZ costume. So I'm thinking of doing Videl. But I'll probably work on Ayane's black outfit next. And maybe do her bunny outfit or camoflague skirt outfit sometime. And I still want to do Melissa from Parasite Eve and maybe Jill's alternate remake outfit. So many costumes, so little time...
Easter at our house was small, but it was nice. I made coconut-orange scones in the morning and almost mucked up the recipe because I was still kind of out of it. It won't be a while until I'm finally caught up on my sleep. XD Then I watched the new Futurama! It was actually pretty good. It made me happy to see new episodes again.
