AU BACKGROUND: Ever since he was in second grade, Jack Spicer has wanted to take over the world. He spent countless hours in his parents’ basement, working on his Jackbots and other inventions to help him do so. During a routine physical examination when he was fifteen, however, it was discovered that his intelligence was not due to luck or work but actually to a genetic mutation. His parents, billionaires and active in the anti-mutant scene with many of their other high society friends, quickly had their son shipped away to the Xavier Institute before anyone could find out. Well, he had always been too weird to take into public, anyway.
Jack did not WANT to go to XI, and is here against his will, expected to go to class and be NICE, of all things. He reluctantly attends classes, continues his robotic experiments, and dreams of one day joining the Brotherhood of Mutants, his ultimate antiheroes.
PERSONALITY: Jack is a haughty, spoiled brat whose narcissism knows no bounds. He thinks he is the greatest thing since sliced bread and wants everyone to agree. However, he is also a serious wimp, and will scream and run from danger the second it is obvious he won’t win. His heart is worn on his sleeve; he publically sobs when he is sad, is in awe of greater villains, shows anger by pouting and stamping his feet and throwing a fit. Jack is also evil and delights in being mean. He is very snarky. Jack also has a severe lack of common sense, and sometimes trusts people blindly.
Secretly, however, Jack is constantly warring with an inner desire to be good. Usually, he prevails over this goodness, but sometimes the good Jack comes out, usually at odd but convenient moments. Of course, he will be as snarky as possible the entire time and heatedly deny it later.
Jack has rare moments of coolness. But they’re pretty epic when they do come along.
APPEARANCE: Fire truck red hair, red eyes, heavy eyeliner, incredibly pale skin. Always wears goggles with swirls on them on his head. Usually wearing a black cloak to make himself look menacing. When he’s working on his robots, he wears t-shirts, usually with a Frankenstein monster on them, and blue jeans.
